Breaking into Tabletop RPGs as an MMO Player Part 1

Are you an MMORPG player that's curious about tabletop gaming? Here's the first part of a two part series that can fill you in on the basics as well as get you pointed in the right direction to start an adventure in traditional gaming. Although this article takes its examples from Dungeons and Dragons, it is applicable to most tabletop RPGs in general and has a list of recommended games in its second part.
