I'll point out that these smaller publishers like Xseed, ATLUS, and NIS do an excellent job of bringing their games to the West (unlike some *cough*NamcoBandai*cough*Squee nix*cough* ). If this publisher gets some traction, we'll likely see even more smaller-budget games coming out, especially on handhelds.

Namco brought Ni No Kuni to us which I'm grateful for. Plus, Tales of Xillia and Project X Zone are coming soon. Namco are not terrible with localizing in my opinion.

Not great, either. Depends on what you want localized. Go tell a "Tales of..." fan that Namco Bandai is a great localizer and they'll slap you in the face.

I'm not saying they're great but they're not terrible either. I really want the "Tales of" Vita games.

Namco only recently cleaned up their act with those games and the one piece and gundam musou games . before that they kept refusing localizations and randomly chose their titles .

They still left plenty tales game in the dust among other things and musou and naruto titles aside , it take them a whole year to release a full dubbed game while refusing japanese audio to be included

Great, that means more Japanese game localizations.

FamilyGuy1782d ago

Well if they're based in Los Angeles it won't need localization, it would have already been made here.

XSeed, Atlus USA, NIS America, and Aksys are based in southern California (LA area) as well.
These companies bring Japanese games, they don't publish things that were "made here."

Derp :x

This is a good thing no matter how you slice it. There is no down side to this decision, only greater thing will happen. Bring on more localizations and faster ones! LONG LIVE NIS AMERICA!
