Wasteland 2 and Torment: Tides of Numenera May Come to Wii U

NE:

“[The idea of releasing the games on Wii U] is interesting. Right now we’re not looking into other platforms at all, we’re focusing first and foremost on personal computer platforms, but post-release we might get back to this if opportunity permits.”

Just like they should. The people who funded it didnt pay for them to make a wiiU,PSN or XBL version, that stuff comes after PC owners have the game they were promised.

And of course you have to adblib PSN and XBL into the conversion even though they are not part of this discussion.

"Right now we’re not looking into other platforms at all,"

Do you even read?

Why would you think they would pass on a 150 million userbase?

Why? It says "other platforms" which means not only WiiU.

I Kickstarted a PC-focused game. I expect to see a PC-focused game. I really don't mind if they take their product and expand it to other platforms down the road (which they should do, because consoles need far more "true" PC games instead of watered-down ports) but that needs to be something they do after their supporters have already been served.

I didn't back either of these projects (I did back Project Eternity though) and I think the Wii U tablet interface might be really good for these isometric style RPGs.

Obviously PC first, but if they can make it to other platforms, why not? There's an entire generation of gamers who have never played this type of stuff before, more new fans should make for even more ambitious crowd funding goals.

As someone who owns both a PC and a Wii U, I don't mind :D

and I'm a backer of both games.
