Square Enix released a batch of new screenshots of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn showcasing Limsa Lominsa and its surroundings.
I do love the fact that this may just be the first time SE listened about a game. With the basic utter flopage of the first ff14, it was completely scraped. Here is to hoping that 14 comes out swinging, and can get a solid foothold like 11 did. With so many recent MMO disappointments, it'd be nice for A Realm Reborn to be a hit.
I agree, I think the flop of FFXIV taught them quite a lot about dealing with feedback.
Reminds me of the good old days of Selbina and my first boat ride to Buburimu Peninsula after hitting level 20. The excitement of my friends in that moment was unfathomable....
Hey what a pleasant ride this is. Hey look, its a ship, wheres everyone running to? hmm whatever, I'll just keep fishing. Oh shit, whats that!! RUN!!! Everything fades to black. That pretty much summed up my first trip.
The groups made to get your limit break items... Getting to the jungle for the first time.... And later on seeing sky and sea for the first time. Back when it was difficult, before all the nerfs.
Just scrap it Square...no more Final Fantasy MMOs. It's already causing you to bleed money as is. Money that could be spent on...idk, other things...that could make you freakin' MILLIONS of dollars...
Quite obviously they aren't scrapping it. They're doing good of their promises to hundreds of thousands of customers. So yeah, you just said something rather nonsensical. Good job.
Yeah screw you too buddy, your sarcasm isn't appreciated. Square needs to make good single player games again. Not this impersonal MMO rehashed grind-fest crap.
Yeah, i think the team would be used better elsewhere. I think the FF11 should have stayed their last MMO. I would much rather have more 'experimental' single player (FF13, Type-0,dissidia etc) games than this.
That 3rd picture looks great. Some good lighting.
