Past to Present Online has a video showcasing a build from the European Computer Trade Show, which is more graphic than the final release.
a new developer needs to get on this and make a new game.
The original version of CBFD is mature enough. But to enhance this games rated "A" content, CBFD would need more nidity ? because this game is woWuh! Conkers Bad Fur Day + wiiU Game-Pad = . . . .. .
Yeah, I'd like to see a kickstarter for it or something. I'd donate to that... Assuming it could get some of the team back together somehow. I dunno though, even if they made another one I doubt it would live up to the original.
the absence of Nintendo at E3 neither would help, nor harm Nintendo. it'll just do nothing other than gamers talking about it.
How can a company do this if Microsoft owns the IP and rights? Anyway, if everyone who claims to love the series and bought the game actually did so, there would have been more games made, and that is the bottom line. Nintendo felt uneasy about publishing the original, so Rare did it themselves, Nintendo brushed the game under the rug because they already announced the Nintendo Gamecube. Microsoft took another chance on the game and offered a good game with some fun online, but by the time the game released the Xbox 360 was already announced and months away from release. Obviously with a next gen console coming out the game suffered in the sales department again.
The multiplayer was actually better in the N64 Version, Sure it wasn't online, but they had some real variation in the game modes. Heist is especially memorable, just hitting them with the bat "Die.... You.... Moth...er...!!!."
Live and Reloaded's multiplayer was terrible. Really, really bad, especially compared to other online games on Xbox at the time.
A little off topic here but I feel like MS could have really created a Mario out of Banjo if the had made a proper Banjo game...not saying Nuts and Bolts was bad but a proper Banjo game would have rocked. Banjo gameplay is almost like Mario but to me has more charm to it. Also Conkers could have been huge too if MS had supported it more.
If Conker had a proper sequel and MS wasn't so obsessed with Reloaded's multiplayer component, it definitely would have been huge.
I loved Conker Live and Reloaded.
Never played conker live and reloaded. Was it the first game ported to xbox? Me and a couple friends would play the nintendo 64 game for hours on end. Playing as deranged teddy bears and ninja sword wielding bunnys has never been so fun. That game made 3 grown ass men I know, who never owned a game console (EVER) run out and get nintendo 64s. Granted, they had more money than sense, but it actually made them gamers on it's own. They are all still gamers to this day and that happily psychotic little game turned them on to the joys of multiplayer. I would love to see a re-boot done correctly or not at all.
It was a port (hence reloaded) that had some additional content removed and online multiplayer was implemented.
sees everyone and their sister seeks funds these days.
