The hardest character to find a suitable voice actress for in Persona 4: Golden was Marie, says Atlus USA’s Yu Namba.
Sometimes giving new voices is a waste. Most people who buy these games always play in original Japanese audio. It's a shame they can't appreciate English voice acting in an otherwise Japanese game. I always play my games with English audio if there's an option. I wouldn't mind playing in Japanese if were mandatory though. I guess what I'm trying to say is, people who only know English and little to no Japanese would rather moan about hearing Japanese because it's original. When they seem to ignore the hard work new voice actors do. I do know there exist horrible voice over jobs, but this is certainly not one of them. There might be a few who are like this, but I've seen it enough times to actually kind of get peeved by it. We should all just learn to appreciate good voice acting, whether it be Japanese or English. (Yes I know it's English only in Persona 4: Golden I own it, just speaking in general.)
I think they did a pretty good job. ... now I wanna go back and play it some more.
I beat it after 140 hours wow I suck.
