Dead Island Riptide: Review | Hard Reset

If the original Dead Island were a concrete foundation with a few cracks to fill in, Dead Island Riptide was apt to have filled them and build a house atop, reinforcing confidence in an aspiring franchise. Instead Riptide ignored the cracks, painted the foundation red and put a roof on top, which isn’t uninhabitable but certainly isn’t an improvement. (Dead Island Riptide, PS3, Xbox 360) 3/5
