How cash actually matters in Gran Theft Auto V

Rather ironically, the Grand Theft Auto series has never really figured out how to let players best spend the mountains of cash they earn in the game. There was never really any need to get cash in previous GTA games, as players were rarely hard-pressed to spend it on anything. Rockstar has made changes in GTA V to address this. (Grand Theft Auto V, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

Yes, Sooooo many things to spend cash on, and to earn cash, but I'm more interested in the ways in how you earn cash. Like that lovely Atm machine or stealing drug dealers van, both of them being dynamic missions. :D

Pssh who's gonna buy the extremely expensive jet when you can just take it and garage it(hopefully).

I'd much rather earn some vehicle by acting like a psychopath killing everything in my path and running from the law, ill save my hard earned dollars for mansions!

Funny how one feature I've wanted so long was to buy things in a game with grand theft in the title.

My brother was disappointed when he heard about not including buying houses. When i tell him that they will bring them back he will be really excited. It's really fun buying big houses and explore them. They need to bring a story for each big house not just buying them though :)

The way I see it, in Gran Theft Auto games, you get so much cash that it really doesn't matter. Buy all the guns, ammo, cars, houses, etc. and you'll still have a ton of money left over.

I think what they're trying to do is make it so what you buy matters because it'll seriously deplete your cash reserves.

In GTA 4 I had amassed millions - and had nothing to spend it on. And here we are with GTA 5 with new ways to earn... & spend money.

F#@%ing Awesome!!!

I hope I'm not the only one anticipating three player online co-op.

Am I the only one who thinks it would be cool to pay bills in the game? Like once a week a notice comes up like "$200 has been withdrawn for your electric bill for your property in <blank>". Adds a touch of realism. I'd like that. Would that be cool, or am I just a big ol dickhead?

You know what would be cooler? If the entire IRS came running after you for tax evasion.

I hope this info is legit....If you can organize heists that's fucking badass!

You've always been able to do the mission but actually being able to get the AI together to go rob a bank is fucking awesome.
