Fallout 4 vs. Elder Scrolls 6, next-gen preference

Product-Reviews writes: If you take a look at the official Bethesda Game Studios website you’ll see the latest games listed as Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, although we do wonder what their next game will be? With the next Xbox, aka 720, and PS4 launching shortly it makes sense for Bethesda to want a title on these platforms as soon as possible.

Fallout 4 would be our number one choice for the next-gen title Bethesda Game Studios is working on, although it is worth pointing out that there are a number of outcomes, which it would be stupid to ignore the massive PS3 and Xbox 360 user base. (Fallout 4, Next-Gen, PS4, Xbox One)

I would prefer Fallout 4 to be the next game.

How about a new IP?

When a new generation comes IMO, it's time to focus on a new IP first, then when you have the hardware under your belt make amazing versions of your previous IP's while mastering the ideas of the new IP.

I love me some new IPs but fallout 4. Fallout is not like most sequels, fallout 3 came out in 08, NV was good but far from being fallout 4 let alone 3.5, and no I am not bashing NV.

I would prefer an unbroken game this new gen
Ausbo  +   448d ago
while i agree, fallout 3 and skyrim weren't broken. Broken is nearly unplayable, and these games were still great. Just a few bugs
ricky360  +   449d ago
I have to agree, Fallout 4 please.

Out of all the Bethesda games, the fallout series is the best tome. Nothing like a well placed pip boy rocket shot and slo mo from start to finish. Best companion tool ever put into a shooter.

I'm hoping for Fallout 4, Add underwater and Flight!!...LOL

I would love it fi they made the next Fallout look something more like Enslaved where nature has taken over

I think the only thing that would get me excited right now for a Bethesda game would be the next Fallout. I have never been a fan of Elder Scrolls, or Bethesda. I do however love the Fallout series. I guess all we can really do is sit back and wait to see what they are working on other the Elder Scroll Online.

Fallout 3 > Skyrim

I´d prefer Fallout 4 on my ps4 sooner than THE ELDER SCROLLS VI

Fallout 4 seems the best choice for existing IP--Skyrim is still "new enough" where I am not in quite as much of a rush for a new ES yet. Fallout though could be fantastic and not as many games remotely like it to help hold you over (post apocalyptic vs fantasy open world that is).

I wouldn't mind a new IP though that is equally as epic in scale with a different setting as well.

On a somewhat related note... wonder what is going on with Fallout MMO as last I heard Bethesda had gained the rights to it.

A less watered down ES experience please Bethesda I enjoyed Skyrim but that game was watered down beyond belief.

Doesnt matter which comes out in what order I will be buying both & cant wait!

Loved Skyrim, but preferred Oblivion. Hoping for the next great Elder Scrolls. I am also the only person I know who preferred New Vegas to Fallout 3.

I really want Elder Scrolls 6. I don't care about Fallout.

That being said, I think Fallout 4 will be coming before Elder Scrolls 6. I think we can expect Elder Scrolls 6 no sooner than 2016.

give me fallout 4 please skyrim world sucks big time they need to make more fallouts because fallout is way more interesting and fun.

Fallout 4 please.

I can't even imagine how a next gen Fallout would be. Man, I hope I'm not personally hyping it up too much. I would be happy with more AI roaming around. And I want serious draw distance. I want to be able to look over a cliff and see 20 mutants and 20 humans having a battle.

Fallout 4 is what i want, equally though; a new IP would be good for Bethesda, perhaps something similar to Mass Effect 3 Bethesda style, Bioware and Bethesda seem to copy each other a lot anyway..

I find it ridiculous some people are talking about possible graphical problems though, they made the Creation engine specifically for 'next-gen' integration and made it clear it would be used for more games, of course this leap in consoles also means ports to pc will be much better graphically (and hopefully functionally) sadly, almost every multi-platform title is now a port..

TES: online is a good chance for Bethesda to stir up the MMO market, but there's also a good chance they'll do something similar Bioware did, using the same engine and such, i hope it's promising though- but the appearance of TES:O means it may be a while before another Elder Scrolls offering.
They should make an Elder Scrolls game next. Skyrim felt half-assed and it felt like it was only made to test the engine. Since that failed they'll have to make a new engine that actually works this time and make a true Elder Scrolls game.

They shouldn't even bother with another Fallout game because the last good Fallout game was Fallout 2 and they don't know how to make them anymore.
C4rnos  +   448d ago
you obviosly have no idea what you're talking about, the engine was new but very similar to their previous ones, after making Skyrim they'll have more experience, and be able to push it further for the next consoles and in turn; PCs.

Fallout 1 and 2 were very different from the new ones because they're different developers. and prefer different styles- i loved the original and later Fallout games; the entire setting is pretty amazing.

Fallout 4 all the way
turgore  +   448d ago
New Elder scrolls. Don't need a new super powerful machine to render a mostly gray game.
vishmarx  +   448d ago
Fallout 4 please since im still not done with skyrim
FightFans  +   448d ago
fallout 4 please
zbg31610  +   448d ago
I love fallout, but I do prefer Elder Scrolls. However they should make fallout 4 first, and then once they are optimized for next gen, make a new elder scrolls.
I mean, once you work with a system for years, developers really get good at making sound games. Just look at Skyrim...
Tatsuya  +   448d ago
Skyrim was awesome but the people have spoken. Give us Fallout 4!
marc 1975  +   448d ago
fallout or skyrim both great ... http://galaxynewsradio.info... is ace for the old fallout music
CourierSix  +   447d ago
Yeah, Fallout 4 please. A bit over Elder Scrolls...

It's going to be Fallout first. Elder Scrolls Online is launching soon for one thing.
