Seriously Gameinformer, you actually felled for that. Each time a person asks Kamiya when there is going to be new information or when his game releases, he always jokes around and says the same line starting with "Next week..."
"Next week...in game magazines"
"Next week...in game stores"

The only time he actually used that line and told the truth was a day before a Nintendo direct. "Tomorrow...on Nintendo Direct" and bam, there was Bayonetta 2 news on a Nintendo Direct.

Wait, that was a rumor? I never heard about that. But, I can't wait to play this game. It looks pretty awesome. But who would really think that the game was coming out next week? Would anyone expect them to release a game a week after announcing the date?
