Neverwinter's First Day of Release Brings Cash Shop Sadness

Neverwinter's combat system proves to be fun, but reliance on the Astral Diamonds currency and constant reminders to use it and the cash shop are more than a little irritating. (Neverwinter, PC)

It's a beta...title is misleading.

While normally that would be a good point, open beta these days is in more of a soft launch than a beta. There will be no more character wipes and the system as it stands now is likely not to be changed. If there were character wipes, maybe it would be different, but there won't be. As such, it is technically a launch.

All that's really needed at this point is ironing out the bugs and for the dev team to churn out some endgame content.
