Too many titles rely too much on blind preorders

This is going to take you through some of the practices of preordering that companies are employing today and analyze their effects on you, the gamer, and on the average gaming journalist who is trying to accurately describe what’s going on out there and help you, if you need it, decide if a certain title should be played or not. Last but not least, Call of Duty: Ghosts is just the latest title to use this kind of preorder tactics, so it’s the perfect opportunity to write on what it is considered to be a sensitive subject. It’s just unfortunate that its name matches perfectly the subject under analysis and its subsequent message.

*First of all, I like Call of Duty and especially the Modern Warfare series developed by Infinity Ward. I think that Infinity Ward did some of the best work ever for the CoD series and I think there are very few chances that Ghosts will fail.*

I guess Timmy here didn't get the memo?Cuz the people who made the MW series great at least 1& 2 aren't there anymore.So expecting this game to be any different than mw3 well you have a better chance at winning the Lotto.

True! Either way, it has nothing to do with the subject. I'm not criticizing/judging the series or its titles, just using this announcement to speak frankly on what's going on with these preorders. And btw, when I said there are very few chances Ghosts can fail, I meant the sales. I edited the text :) Thanks!
