Guacamelee! Review - Geimaku

Geimaku: "After numerous adventures through alien-infested caves and haunted elegant hallways, I’ve been thinking of how the same platformer structure would work in different setpieces. It is something that made me realize the importance of the metroidvania genre in this current generation. After all, Other M and Mirror of Fate are gradually straying from their 2D origins.

If anything, this could be a greater example of the genre’s success if it wasn’t so short! DrinkBox isn’t at fault for this, though." (Guacamelee, PS Vita, PS3) 8/10
