The Borderlands 2 release date for the upcoming character class discussed by Randy Pitchford

Gearbox Software previously revealed that the sixth playable character class, Krieg the Psycho, will be coming out later this month for “Borderlands 2.” However, an exact date has not yet been given. Randy Pitchford, President of Gearbox Software, has now confirmed that the new Vault Hunter DLC is still on track to release at some point in May. Pitchford told fans that they shouldn’t expect the add-on to hit during the first of the month but it’s likely that the new character class will still release during the month of May as intended. (Borderlands 2, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

Not really... leveling in Borderlands 2 is pretty fast and even faster if you have someone (like your high level person) to power level them. Then once they hit level 50 (back in the olden days this could be done in 6 hours), you can trade over all your good gear and be pretty much in business.

There is still supposed to be another story dlc for season pass owners, right? I thought they said those would all release before June. Hopefully it's good the first 3 were a mixed bag for me.

Yup, Pitchford stated that new information about the 4th pack is coming after Krieg drops. I agree with your DLC statement. Pirate DLC was good and Torgue Awesome but Big Game Hunt was kinda meh.

i dont understand why this wont release. The entire character of Krieg and all drops for him were in the last update. People who go into the files can even play as him...he is done, just release it
