Top Ten Licenses Gearbox Software Could Acquire and Ruin

In the wake of Gearbox Software's acquisition of the Homeworld franchise following THQ's demise, many fans are wondering whether their beloved space RTS will suffer the same treatment/abuse endured by Aliens: Colonial Marines. In the spirit of this, check out some other properties (gaming and otherwise) that may be perfect fits for Gearbox's "hump 'em and dump 'em" procedure for licensed games. (Aliens: Colonial Marines, Duke Nukem Forever, Gearbox Software, Homeworld, PC, PS3, Randy Pitchford, Xbox 360)

Jesus people just cant let Aleins go. It really wasnt as bad as people say. Yes it was a call of duty clone set in aliens universe. I have playe d alot worse clones before. Gearbox greatest thing they have is Borderlands obviously & one of its greatest strengths is it doesnt take itself to seriously & jokes about things constantly. Had gearbox done that with aliens & throw jokes in the game people would have bitched about how they were making fun of aliens.

It's not just about the quality of the game. It's the fact that Gearbox farmed the project out to TimeGate, lied about it, charged full price for a piece of trash and still have yet to come forward with any semblance of truth about the whole affair. It's not a matter of production so much as it is culpability. That's why it shouldn't be let go.
