Steve Sawyer: Often when you review games for a very long time, you can get to the point where playing a game and writing about it gets tedious. To most, the prospect of writing about video games seems like a dream job of some kind. There’s and inherit belief that my life is spent inside Bowser’s Castle surrounded by cotton candy and LCD monitors filled attached to every electronic device known to man. The reality is that we’re often surrounded by stacks of titles that need to be played and reviewed by or before release date. There’s also aching hands; pets; family; bills; and housework to contend with. It gets tiring. So it was pretty refreshing to legitimately be excited about something for once.
