Defiance Review | Dealspwn

Trion's bold and brave project has many flaws, but if the developers can address them in time it could turn what is oddly enjoyable into just enjoyable. While better games exist in terms of gameplay mechanics, Defiance finds a way to be more fun than it probably has any right to be, and for that reason it still has some hope of succeeding. (Defiance, PC, PS3, Xbox 360) 6/10

Maybe this isn't the most polished game ever. But it is pure fun. Every update, minor and small makes the game better. The latest minor update adds in elemental hellbugs, which are awesome.

This game is a solid 8 easily. I love playing this game and the only real problem is lag spikes, which isn't that bad, and pop-in issues, which they are fixing. Regardless, I love this game.

It's not an 8 yet IMO, but it could be once Trion sorts out some of the remaining bugs and adds a more interesting metagame.
