Xbox 720 integration tipped by Ubisoft in Watch Dogs push

While Ubisoft already made it clear that it would be releasing its next open world action-adventure game for the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Wii U, and the Xbox 360, it still didn’t confirm whether or not Watch Dogs would be released for the next-gen Xbox (although then again, why would it leave it out?). In the official Watch Dogs world premiere gameplay trailer released today, Ubisoft tips that Watch Dogs will most likely head to the Xbox 720. (Watch Dogs, Xbox One)

"If Microsoft confirms all of these speculations [always on DRM], then gamers may opt to purchase Watch Dogs, and other games, on another gaming platform instead."

This is why we need competition in the industry, so when one company puts their junk in a bear trap we can simply buy the game on another platform in retaliation of their stupidity.

This is also why we need fact-checking in the industry as well, rather than yet another article that's attempting to cash-in on quick and easy clicks by regurgitating the same old tired rumors and speculation.

Until we know for sure that games on the next Xbox will require an internet connection to work, articles like this are nothing more than utter garbage.

There was plenty of rumors flying around that the PS4 would also require an internet connection and block used games. Turns out they had absolutely no basis in reality once Sony revealed the console.

Fact-checking? Are you serious? That would require real journalism and sites like Kotaku and others could never be bothered with that.

Completely agree...

Also what the hell does the possibility of always on DRM on the 720 have to do with Watch Dog and its first game play trailer?

Nothing... Great Journalism right there.

If this is true, than Microsoft can keep their Always online xbox. Everyone else can buy this console, but I will pass on it.

For the same reason Warner or THQ didn't show Wii U at the end of Batman or Darksiders trailers..

i dont think an article was needed for this "info"

I just hope they keep kinect out of it. But SmartGlass would be cool since it can simulate using a smart phone like the main character uses as his main tool in the game.

Integration? What? Did you just decide to use a big word to get some attention or something? LOL
