Postcard Review: Mega Man X-communication

(Editor’s note: In this feature, members of the Pixelitis staff write small, easily digestible reviews big enough to ‘fit on a postcard’ – hence the title. It can be about the whole experience or just a small piece of the pie. No scores needed.)

"If there’s somewhere we’ve all been, it’s the realm of bad sequels. We’ve all had our favorite franchises marred by the production of rushed and sub-par sequels.

Take the Mega Man X series, for example. Mega Man X7 was the sequel that almost ruined everything for me. Granted, X6 with its plot retconning almost did me in, but the gameplay still fun to play. X7 lacked charm, both in its plot and execution." (Mega Man X7, PS2)
