The Experience Boost Isn’t The Reason You Should Pre-Order Diablo III, But It Doesn’t Hurt

The PS3 version of Diablo III is finally available for pre-order, and it comes with a nifty experience gaining bonus. However, there is a much better reason to snag it. (Diablo III, PS3, PS4)

PS3 gamers should definitely snatch this game up. I spent over 100 hours between three characters, and the only reason why I stopped was because of the unnecessary "always online" requirement. Seeing how that isn't required for the PS3 version, and seeing how an offline 4p co-op mode is included, the PS3 version is going to be the best version of the game.

I agree.

It may not be the sequel to Diablo II a lot of gamers were hoping for, but it's still a lot of fun. And with controller support, no RMAH and no always-online DRM, the console version looks to be the definitive version.

I don't think the people who will buy this, console gamers who've waited a LONG time for a really good game in this genre.....which there have been VERY few of this gen, need any convincing. Diablo showing back up on consoles has been LONG overdue since imo console are a better platform for the genre.

I'm waiting on pre-ordering though. The exp helm is nice, but I would like some better, more unique, more powerfull in-game items for pre-ordering. This sounds like a code that will come with every pre-order from the publisher, so I'm going to wait till I hear what retailers are going to offer for in-game items for pre-ordering. I'm expecting there to be some good items to draw in pre-orders for this game. And whichever one is giving me some badass looking Axe and armor set.....something like that, is the one that's going to get my pre-order.

i will most likely just rent or wait for a 20 buck price drop since i already have it on the PC

I don't see the point of an experience boost. Normal through Hell is already easy enough.
