Call of Duty Mosaic Appears on Official Site, Teaser Image Says “The Ghosts Are Real”

The official Call of Duty website has been updated to display an ever-growing mosaic of Twitter and Facebook users, slowly revealing an image that is presumably tied to the upcoming Call of Duty announcement.

An unveiling of Activision’s next Call of Duty title, rumored to be titled “Call of Duty: Ghosts,” is right around the corner and hype is building. The game will allegedly run on a “new next-generation Call of Duty engine” and will deliver “a riveting all-new gameplay experience built on an entirely new story, setting and cast,” according to recent retailer listings...

The story is too old to be commented.

its gonna be so funny when it's revealed that the "next gen engine" this is supposed to be running on is nothing more than another Quake engine update... wake up people, next gen engines will be crap on current gen systems.. that includes BF4.. how many idiots will be 2 versions of the same game???

and PLEASE dont think that super realistic engine that Activision showed will be in any CoD game... CoD is built on slapstick, mickey mouse, cartoonish gameplay.. thats why it sells.. People buy CoD because it's slapstick and cartoonish... there is nothing realistic about CoD

If next gen CoDs are running on the outdated Quake engine, than I won't buy another one at all, even if I usually pick them up to just have a quick pick up and play game with friends... CoD is really going to have to do something special to get me to buy yet another one.

Another installment of COD & another build up of hate for the most played game on all console formats. If you only came on N4G's for your news you'd believe that nobody played COD, nobody payed Fifa & nobody owned an Xbox 360. But in the real world.....
