New details on Shin Megami Tensei IV have come out of this weekend’s Nico Nico Super Conference. Excerpts include over 50 hours of gameplay, paid downloadable content, a dropped Moon Phase system, and no links to previous games.

I have the japanese version and I must say that the stage designs are breathtaking. I am glad of the mixture of artists who poured their blood and sweat onto the demon designs, however nothing can really replace Kazuma Kaneko's trademark style and fashion sense. I really wished he would return for Final or even V.
Japanese game illustrator Yasushi Nirasawa, known for character designs in Kamen Rider Series entries Kamen Rider Blade, Kamen Rider Kabuto, and Kamen Rider Den-O and the creatures in the GARO series, as well as the man responsible for some of the boss designs in Shin Megami Tensei IV, has passed away at the age of 52.
The chariot of dicks will always be one of the best characters in any videogame. Damn shame.
