That could work, but only with the television series actors doing the voices. Love that show, been a fan for the length of the entire show. Great music would also have to be a must for the game, ACDC would be the obvious choice!
If TellTale Games did it, then yeah, definitely. I like how they handled Walking Dead's transition from TV/Comics to videogames.
No AC/DC doesn't define that show for me (I'm Australian, So I'm pretty much sick of Acca dacca anyways lol).. But what does is... CARRRRRRY ON MY WAYWARD SSSSOOO(AAAA)N. There will peace when you are done.. Lay your weary head to reEEEEsst... Don't you cry no more... *pan shot of Impala firing up and speeding away from camera* *Guitar riff* Fuq yeah!
At least for style's sake i could see a presentation similar to Asura's wrath . By that i mean quests/adventures/chapters that could be presented as episodes with the formulaic layout and music from the show . And the game itself could be some sort of alan wake on steroid
I watch this show religiously, and I have to admit it would be a great game. You have mystery, survival horror, first person shooter, magic, tall tales, urban legends, myths, allies and enemies in the forms of angels and demons, you have great boss fights, you have puzzles, and you have co-op. if it is done right it can be the next resident evil game type but it incorporates all different type of monsters. Best of all the story is already written. Honestly, to me zombies type games are getting stale. We need the were wolves, the banshees, ghost, and vampires for a change.
HELL YEA! A survival horror/adventure game would be pretty damn awesome. Playing as Castiel would be VERY interesting. lol http://www.youtube.com/watc...
If this game were to come out I wouldn't want to be a tv character. There's many hunters in the supernatural world. There's also Garth.
Id love to see a Green Arrow game.
Why not , as long as it's green arrow and not the show "the arrow" . Careful i like the show , but for a game no reason to settle for the "bland" tv version with all the fantasy and dc-ish elements removed
Only if they get the right people to do it and they do it right! No more damn cash grabs.
There certainly is enough lore to fill a game or two. I particularly like the idea of a TellTale Games episodic approach. Each episode could be it's own story arc, or it's own "case". Could be very good.
*Sam and Dean argue in the car. *Sam and Dean stop at hick infested diner to eat. *Sam reads newspaper, and says "I think i found us a job", "Listen to this: 'Guy turned to chocolate in his own bathroom'.... *Dean: So? *Sam: Well, don't you think we should look into this, it could lead us to Castiel/Ruby/Meg/Azazel/Dad/Li lith/Lucifer? *Sam/Dean leaves the table and then Sam/Dean picks up Sam's/Dean's phone revealing that Sam/Dean actually HAS been cohorting with that demon bitch/Cass. *Sam and Dean go to the crime scene, posing as FBI agents and find evidence of.......A GHOST! *Sam and Dean argue in the car. *Sam/Dean calls Bobby to get info on the monster that they'll be fighting and he calls them 'ijits'. *Sam and Dean find monster (with a horribly pronounced foreign name) who preys on college girls/cheerleaders/nurses, and kill it. *Sam and Dean argue in the car. *Sam/Dean cries. *Sam/Dean reveals that he knows that Sam/Dean has been cohorting with that demon bitch/Cass. *Dean makes speech about how tough he is. *Sam: "Alright, stop the car! *Sam and Dean argue on the road. *Sam walks away. *Camera zooms out showing Dean standing next to his car. ^^Every episode of Supernatural.
Well played sir, you just reduced me to uncontrollable fits of laughter.
hahahaha Yes... but I still love the show XD
Lmao!!! I love the show, but that's a very accurate representation of the show. :,D
Can anyone name a TV or movie that was successful as a game? I'm drawing a blank here.
The Walking Dead(I doubt the game would have been made were it not for the shows immense popularity) Though since it isn't based on the show it shouldn't count, I suppose... There have been a few good adaptations. *Few.
Nice! That's a good one. Forgot all about TWD. Thanks...
Yep another good one!!
It's a neat idea. Although I would love it if they did it canon, bring together story element that can serve to be part of the Series' mythology.
If they stay true to the tv show and keep the same presentation of the show and use the tv characters then yes it might work. As long as the game is not rushed for a quick buck like Walking Dead Survival Instinct was man that game was bad. It also depends on the studio who does it along with the publisher then yes Supernatural might make a great game. Only other tv franchise I hate as a game was CSI the character model was horrible, voice acting got annoying and the game dragged on there was no room to explore.
Idk how it would work out but a Supernatural game sounds interesting to me, i recently caught up with series and it's great so i wouldn't mind seeing a game version, just would hope it would be great.
I've been wondering for a while why there isn't a Supernatural game already. I think they could do a really excellent survival horror esque game with it. Weapons based on what you are hunting, sieging a room by salting the doors and windows. Driving the Impala to a cemetary to burn some bones.
It would be cool to play as Dean Winchester.
I think the gameplay could be like a horror themed LA Noire.
