Techtorial: Amidst the big reveal of new GTA V preview next week, questions linger if Rockstar Games will use season pass for distributing downloadable content for the game.
All their DLC of past were well worth the money so I have no doubts in them delivering a top notch DLC'S. If anything, other developers, publishers could learn a thing or two from them. "Here is 5 maps, it costs 30 dollars, go crazy" If these kind contents are called DLC then rockstar's DLC are full fledged games
When it comes to Rockstar, it's basically an Expansion Pack Season Pass. so I'd buy the hell out of it.
I still think that both GTA IV packs and Undead Nightmare were one of the best DLCs ever released.
It means I'll buy the GOTY Edition. I won't pay for something hidden behind a curtain. This pertains to every developer that does this, as I love Rockstar. There aren't exceptions. If Kojima has a pass I'll buy the GOTY Edition. Period. I'm not paying $120 for one game. That is ridiculous to me.
Just because a developer continues to support a game after release doesn't mean their holding back, some do, but not all.
You are correct. Did I mistakenly type something that made you feel that I thought otherwise? I won't repeat what I have already said, however. Might I suggest you reading my post again while refraining from making assumptions. No offense, no disrespect. *typographical error
I wasn't trying to call you out, and I did take what you said out of context, admittedly. I guess I'm just not the type that can wait an extra year to play a game. Normally I wait for a sell on dlc, unless I'm still actively play a game.
No harm done. Luckily I don't buy many games on release day so I tend to have a large backlog. I'm playing Dragon's Dogma and will be playing Deadly Premonition come Tuesday. Plus there is Tomb Raider and Bioshock which I plan to get down the road.
Yeah rockstar is one of the best devs out there. Gta v ia going to be amazing.
I'd go for a season pass for GTA V assuming the DLC for it is similar to that of GTA IV or Red Dead Redemption. Simple reason why is because their DLCs turn into more of an expansion. They aren't just adding maps or visuals.
After Max Payne 3 pass and the this whole "a season pass is for discounted BS MP maps" Ill pass. I don't even play MP like that and I absolutely detest MP content on what are historically and primarily SP experiences. Unless I know I am expecting significant SP content for my money. I'm not blindly buying passes anymore.
