‘Assassin’s Creed 4’ PS4 and Xbox 720 engine cross-generation support discussed (Photos)

Hugues Ricour has provided some details in regards to the cross-generation support for the game engine being used for the upcoming PS4 and Xbox 720 video game, “Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag.” In an interview with Edge Online on April 25, the senior producer at Ubisoft Singapore revealed that the AnvilNext engine lets the studios “push the bar” on the next-generation systems while allowing them to continue creating current-generation versions at the same time. You can check out some screens from the fourth numbered installment of the “Assassin’s Creed” series on the PS4 and Xbox 720 in the slideshow at the top of this article.
