God of War Ascension – Review | Gamercheese

Fans would love this entry. We find out more about Kratos while revisiting the God of War universe. Unfortunately, there isn’t much new here, and God of War Ascension lacks the punch of its predecessors. Being spoiled by the typical larger than life bosses, The Furies just don’t quite compare to Ares, Zeus, or even the Colossus. There are the usual God of War elements, but aside from an awesome multiplayer, there isn’t much innovation in this late stage PS3 title. We’ve seen all this before, but at least it’s still a beautiful sight. (God of War: Ascension, PS3) 8/10
