Square Enix has a trio of nostalgic Final Fantasy CDs in the works. Final Fantasy IV Original Soundtrack Remaster Version is slated for release on July 3.
I would really like to see Square's orchestra release a full on rendition of Chrono Trigger.
Final Fantasy VIII remastered soundtrack would be AMAZING
Pretty sure it's been done before NukaCola.
I wouldn't mind a full on rendition of Chrono Cross and Xenogears Yasunori Mitsuda is just as great as Nobuo Uematsu.
id really rather get a compilation of every final fantasy game rather than the soundtrakcs
HD upgrade of Chrono Trigger would certainly be a start to get back in the fans good graces....
What does that have to do with music? On Topic I love when they do the concerts where they do some Final Fantasy games, Kingdom Hearts and the Chrono games. A lot of their games have amazing soundtracks. Hopefully I will get tickets to those concerts one day.
Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Point is Square can easily right the ship instead they keep pumping out this crap. Remastered music? Waste of time
How about you start remastering games square?
Those are dangerous words. Before you know it they will devote all their resources to remastering all the entries in FFXIII (even FFvXIII just so they can delay the release for another couple years).
I don't think an orchestrated version could ever outdo the snes synthesized versions. Matching real instruments to the music has been done before and I've never quite felt it lived up to the SNES S-SMP soundchip music. It's just a testament to how well designed the SNES was.
people actually buy thise music things? square needs to remaster the games and get them out quick. stop messing around with the music crap.
Do people really buy these things?
I am psyched for remastered Dancing Mad.
They should remaster the Secret Of Mana soundtrack
They've already remastered the IV soundtrack for the DS remake... I wonder how this'll be different? I also wonder if they'll use the remastered V and VI soundtracks for possible future 3ds / Vita remakes?
