The Lonely Gamer

GameGrin:

"The term 'multiplayer' has changed dramatically over the last few years. Once it meant you sat with a friend as you played together or against each other. Now, if you're not playing with friends, you can virtually invite a collection of strangers into your living room.

My experiences of multiplayer gaming since everything went online have largely been soul-crushingly depressing, due mainly to having to play with other people. People are idiots, people are unfair, and frankly too many people are nasty bigoted morons." (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

So true. Being socially awkward I rarely play multiplayer cause I'm not really comfortable being around people, Whether it's online or real life. If it's fun enough I can play it. Red Dead and Halo being the few exceptions.

But you don't have to talk to people online.

It doesn't matter. Just like saying I don't have to talk to people in real life, I'm still uncomfortable around them. But that only applies to people I don't know.
