New Images Show Asylum's Interior and Joseph

"Three new The Evil Within screenshots were just released, they showcase the interior of the Mental Asylum, as well as a close up shot of Joseph Oda, one of the game's supporting characters. And someone was able to take a picture of a 3 page spread from Famitsu showing Sebastian hiding from "SafeHead", it should do until proper scans arrive. You can check them out below." (PC, PS3, PS4, The Evil Within, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

The Next-gen version of this should look great. I hope they show it soon.

I'm pretty sure these are pics from the next-gen version.

According to the journalists who saw it running, and provided the screenshots, it was running on a PC with current assets.

So, no.

I can't stand games covered in a constant blur of noise, it is so annoying.

You do know that a PC is beyond next-gen consoles years ago?
Rikitatsu  +   575d ago
"...With current gen assets"

EDIT: Guy below, seriously what's so hard to understand? CURRENT GEN ASSETS = ASSETS CREATED TO RUN ON THE CURRENT GEN VERSION, BUT THEY WERE DEMONSTRATING IT ON A PC.

Should I elaborate more?

^^^^^^

PC's don't really have 'gens'

If they did, we would have a 'next gen' everytime a new processor or graphics card releases.

PC gaming is done with!
Why would anyone wanna play a game on a PC these days? Have it lock up and crash, heck with that! What a headache! Everyone i know out here stopped gaming on PCS a long time ago and all bought PS3s and 360s.

Why on earth would someone wanna spend thousands of dollars and do constant upgrades all the time just for a 5% graphical upgrade? Lol, people like you dont have much common sense and are lacking knowledge! Your comment was good for a laugh at least.

@MadMax

PC games are the only games that I can really rely on anymore. After seeing several generations of consoles I am beginning to realize that games are inevitably tied to the hardware they were released on.

Though I love many of the games that Nintendo and Sony put out, I wish they were PC for the simple reason that I can still play games I bought over 15 years ago on the PC.

I love the PC not for the graphics (although I do like them) but more for the longevity it provides.

Well, next gen consoles won't look better than current gaming PCs, so the next gen version won't look any better.

so Mikami is the 2nd male protagonist, got it.
Rikitatsu  +   575d ago
wat
jc48573  +   575d ago
I'm referring where Mikami is standing right in the middle covering one of the three posters that reveal the characters.
Rikitatsu  +   575d ago
Oh, that.
It would be awesome if Mikami was a playble character though. He was an NPC in Vanquish, so the hell not?!
Kyosuke_Sanada  +   575d ago
Keep the images a-coming. Hopefully a trailer will follow suit which gives more insight to the three protagonists.....

Looks like i'm right when i said there will be some stealth gameplay in TEW. Just look at this famitsu scan when Sebastian hiding from...errr 'the guy with box head'

I think stealth will be a standard procedure in survival horror games if we look at this, TLoU, Amnesia, and Siren. And that's a good thing if developers wants to embrace their old fans.

Funny how people say Wii U has too many ports.

PS4 & Xbox 720 are looking to have just as many ports at launch.

Disteny, Watch Dogs , AC4 , Battlefield 4 to name a few will be PC ports.

Don't kid yourselfs, none of these were built from the ground up for PS4 & Xbox 720.
