It could be true since Call of Duty reveals happen around NBA playoffs

I can't believe that people still but this game. Especially PS3 players who get the POS version. Haven't you guys learned the lesson???? Why not spend that money supporting innovative games like Beyond? Or other cool exclusive games like the Infamous series? OPEN YOUR EYES ALREADY DAMN IT!!!
Sorry, I had to say it

dasbeer881819d ago

Well said, HeavYx.

And don't forget other innovating games like the Tales series, The Last of Us, Watch Dogs, Lost Odyssey, Ni No Kuni, Persona Golden, and dozens and dozens of extra underrated titles.

supersonicjerry1819d ago

One question why are you worried about how others spend their money?

xHeavYx1819d ago (Edited 1819d ago )

@Supersonicjerry I'm worried that people are buying crap instead of supporting innovative games, because I care about the video game industry and I don't want it to become a FPS world. Some developers won't take big risks because they think their game won't be as popular as an FPS

supersonicjerry1819d ago

Alright, I understand but if people enjoy the game why would they stop buying it? I don't want it to become solo FPS either but some people just like FPS and that is the only genre they like. If the companies don't take the risk that's their fault don't mean to sound like an ass but it's the truth not everything will be successful; you win some and you lose some if dev's really want to push a game out they will take the risk. The other problem is the price of games, I never buy single player games until its $40 or lower because once I beat it I usually never play it again. Only one single player game I bought full price this gen was Dishonored everything else waited till price drop.

Salooh1819d ago

True, but my brothers only play call of duty so i still have to buy it. Lets just hope it have next generation version ..

thechosenone1819d ago (Edited 1819d ago )

Everything after MW2 has been awful, next gen will be all about Killzone, BF4, Destiny and any other FPS that's skill based.

Lol look at the comments in the article.

AngelicIceDiamond1819d ago (Edited 1819d ago )

If your a fan of the series then fine. Until I see innovation personally.

Then let the same rehashed game get announced. Let people get all excited. Let it release in the fall and complain about how nothing was fix upgraded changed innovated. Then it'll once again be a winefest on the forums.

Doesn't Infiniti Ward and Treyarch get tired of that every single year? The complaining and moaning from the fans? How come they can't make a game that makes people happy and excited instead of getting hatemail, anger and complaints?

NYC_Gamer1819d ago (Edited 1819d ago )

The fans are the reason Call of Duty is released every year with minor upgrades...Call of Duty continues to break sales records because fans support the franchise regardless then complain after.

Activision Breaks Own Sales Record With ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 2,’ Grossing $1B In 15 Days

The sales might be down but how many other franchises are doing these numbers?

Minato-Namikaze1819d ago

I thought COD sales are down 14% in the same time frame this year though.

Roper3161819d ago

Lets just hope that downward sales trend continues until COD is finally gone for good.

Gamer-401819d ago

I wait, CoD Ghosts using new engine.

gedden71819d ago

If Ghosts is using a new engine and stopped with the BS stuff like QSing and sh!t like that I might be interested...

But if its that same BS and old engine, nope not gonna waste my money...
