Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut Review | Metro

Metro: "As unique a vision as video gaming has ever seen and one able to use its many incompetencies – including the new ones – to entertain and surprise." (Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut, PS3) 8/10

Can anybody give me a background about this game?, or at least recommend it. I've been hearing mixed opinions on it, and would love to try it

Have you ever seen Twin Peaks? The gameplay mechanics are absolutely awful and the graphics are outdated, but the rest it like a wonderfully bad B-movie version of Twin Peaks. Not everybody will appreciate that though, which explains the bad reviews.

If you can look past the flaws, you'll get a kick out of the weird atmosphere, kooky story, and all the downright bizarre characters.
