SimCity – The Vanishing Act

With the recent release of the 2.0 patch, SimCity should be better than ever, but the troubles continue for Maxis' city building simulator. And with the closure of SimCity Social, is the future of SimCity in question? (PC, SimCity)

SimCity will be kept alive as long as it's profitable to EA.

As soon as they stop making money of the DLC they'll pull the plug on the servers as they've done countless times with other games. And unless they patch an offline mode anyone who paid will also lose access to the game.

I agree with you but they will make it available offline. Too many lawsuits would happen if they didn't!
