Fire Emblem: Awakening – Not Just The Best 3DS Game?

Gamer Euphoria writes:

''For quite some time, Resident Evil: Revelations has been the 3DS’s best game. There’s been a number of good games on the system, not just Mario games either, but Revelations remained at the summit. This has all seemingly changed with the release of Fire Emblem: Awakening.'' (3DS, Fire Emblem: Awakening)

As a side note, everyone should buy this game

Agreed.

This game should be considered by many to be GotY. This review/article was spot on.

I'd go so far as to say it is EASILY the best handheld, ipad/mobile game made.

I agree this is a reason to pick up a 3ds. If you are a gamer you'd enjoy the hell out of Fire Emblem.

Hopefully people/critics/sites will remember it come the end of this year.

Fire Emblem: Awakening is my handheld Game of the Year so far. While the year is still young, Fire Emblem set the bar really high.

Easily GOTY 2013 for me thus far, and I primarily play on PC and consoles. Unfortgettable characters, thought provoking storyline, infinite replayability, freeform dynamic narrative with real consequences for death, that AMAZING support/marriage/S Rank system... sorry Infinite, but you don't even come close.

Also, it's even in the free game promotion. Such a result. As someone said above, I hope that critics give this the proper respect it deserves when considering GOTY and even end-of-generation articles.

I would love to see what the disagreeing people feel is wrong with the game. I know it's not perfect, but it is damn good. And so worth the money.

Revelations was very good and the closest thing RE has gotten to real survival horror in years (which actually isn't saying much), but I don't think it's an undisputed contender for best 3DS game. There's plenty more great titles.

I'm only 5 hours in FE:A and I'm really enjoying it. It feels like I'm only scratching the surface, too.
