The members of the Justice League are set against one of the most terrifying enemies imaginable...Superman. The team who revived the Mortal Kombat give their fighting game take on the DC Universe. Jeffrey Harris checks in with his official review of Injustice: Gods Among Us for PS3.
Injustice: Gods Among Us launched 10 years ago today, birthing a brand new fighting game franchise from NetherRealm Studios.
Injustice turns ten years old today, so let's look back at why it matters
10 years on from the original release of Injustice: Gods Among Us, NetherRealm's other fighting game deserves recognition.
I'm torn between picking this up or maybe waiting for Persona 4 Arena. I think I'll wait for Persona...
Now Nether realm Studios should make Soul Calibur 6 and put fatalities,X-ray moves, wager move in them. Killer Instinct too!!! I love the innovation they bring to the fighting games!!!
Wow somebody actually gets it. The only thing missing from Injustice is a finishing / super move at the end of the match. Other than that it's a great fighting game. It's a lot of fun and has excellent graphics. I don't get all of these 7 scores from most reviewers. It's as if they are dumping on it because it's not MK. No kidding it's not Mortal Kombat. It's not suppose to be.
Neatherealm did a great job with this game. I would give it a solid 9 overall. Personally for me it's an 8.5 but I would rate it a 9 because you can tell they worked their asses off to make a great game. Developers should be rewarded for their efforts. I get bored seeing rehashes year after year getting 9s or higher and a company like this tries something new and get meh reviews. Reviewers have no credibility anymore. It's sad what they have become. Reward complacency and ignore innovation and taken chances.
So I say cheers to you 411mania.
