Dear Iwata: What Wii U Owners Want

I’m going to go under the assumption that I’m not alone in wishing there were more content on the Wii U right now. While the writers at NintendoDude loved Need for Speed: Most Wanted U, Lego City: Undercover, and Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate, they were just a short burst of really fun games that all happened to come out at once.

We are trying to act as excited as possible regarding this Spring’s lineup, but to be perfectly honest, the Wii U is looking pretty dry for the rest of this year. While it is entirely understandable that developing video games takes time, and it is also understandable that the Wii U has only been out for a few months, there are a few things that I’ve noticed fans are universally asking for when it comes to the Wii U.

"Nintendo: your fans are willing to pay you $5 or more EACH for your old games, even though we could just as easily play them for free on a computer or phone!!! Give them to us."

This is what I want the most, and for them to make new IPs. Just how the author described it in the article. Good read ;) I should have a Wii U pretty soon #Virtual console

Emulators aren't illegal, downloading ROMs when you don't own the original game is illegal.

Have they even got Luigis Mansion, Super Smash Bros Melee, Mario Kart Double Dash, Resident Evil 0 and the Remake etc on their online store

People would pay good money for them

releasing 50 of the best GBA games at $5 each for the 3DS would make them Millions and millions of dollars.

I've heard they are releasing them on Wii U though which makes no sense...

at least they are somewhat getting it now.

We would spend more on old good games than new crappy games.

what i want from from nintendo as a wiiu owner is the obvious

.better unification across devices.
.more games
.confirmation dates for most games
.probably a superds asscessory..(like the super gameboy for snes)
.an how can i forget Moar Games..lol

for me its internal storage and ability to transfer games over. I would buy alot more wii u games digitally if i could store them all without an external hard drive. I also like to know that if my system breaks down i can activate them on another one at no cost and I can play games i already purchased digitally on both of my wii us in different rooms

I would like achievements called Wiiwards = )

Ive gotten so used to getting a trophy or an achievement that when I play my wiiU games, I can't help but feel like I'm wasting my time.

I understand that this is somewhat shallow of me, but I believe I have been conditioned by Sony and Microsoft and I'm now addicted.. = (

I would buy allot of the games I've already played, like Arkham, Mass Effect, Assassins, if only I had a reason to play them again.

Nintendo really dropped the ball by not including what I consider the industry standard. Achievements have helped motivate me to get every last crumb that a game has to offer, and I've played games I would have never played before, knowing I would be rewarded somewhat with that addictive sound.

I get that some games abuse the system and have you searching for hours just to extend the game, but when applied correctly, they really ad to the game for me.

Nintendo please stop making consoles, and concentrate on software. Obviously what you are doing is not working.
