Massachusetts Legislators Consider Games-as-Porn Bill

Legislators in Massachusetts will hold a hearing Tuesday on a bill that would treat violent games like smut. That is, it would be a crime to sell them to a minor. Jack Thompson originally advised the state on the bill in 2007. It is similar to Thompson's Louisiana bill that was declared unconstitutional in 2006. So why is Mass wasting time with it?

You go Billy G. I really don't know how to comment on this. Most people will be against this comment, others will gladly welcome it.

People who will loose their jobs as a result of more immigrants coming over here are TOTALLY again the idea.

People who have just run out of ideas and are looking for fresh ideas will definitely embrace Billy G's comment.

It seems to me that legislators are concentrating all their efforts on the wrong things.

Maybe they focus instead on taking some control of the internet, tv commercials, print media and music first. After all, these games are already rated M and are only supposed to be sold to adults. It's a waste of time putting your effort where it isn't needed.
