1999 mode is a definite disappointment. I don't think its nit-picky to complain about something which was barely harder than the hard mode in the game. I was expecting a real step up in difficulty but I managed to reach Elizabeth somewhere between 2-3 hours...

99 mode first playthrough was the perfect challenge for me personally. I think if I did 99 mode on second playthrough I would have been disappointed in the step up. It took me 20-25 hours to beat first time on 99 mode taking in all the sights

I never understood Elizabeth powers aswell

She could open a tear to Paris out of nowhere yet in combat she could only do it when she saw a Tear....even then they were just the same old hooks, med kits, ammo/guns and cover.

Shame she couldn't transport you to places where you could find unique stuff, a ton more money or some other good things
