Move would help both players and developers, claims Just Add Water boss. [OXM]
I remember when Green Man Gaming started up, and everybody laughed at the idea of digital trade-ins. Nowadays, not so much.
Am I the only one that is concerned about how many gaming outlets will close down if gamers cant play pre owned games?
Seems to be the way it's going regardless - preowned's never been more popular, but companies like HMV and GAME are still biting dust.
HMV sold more than just games, so not sure that's a valid comparison, and GAME has bounced back.
I wouldn't say they've "bounced back". They've been saved from bankruptcy, but as far as I know they're still a black hole profits-wise. Fair dos on HMV though.
Am all for it plus it would mean I will not be pestered to pre-order some game. No more dealing with people in line to trade all their games , console to realize their not getting what they thought & cancel the transaction.
If the industry gets this running I will support it.
More digital download games is a win win
I have an idea. If you want to sell me digital and have it just be a liscence and not actual ownership, the lower the price from $60 to $30 and they will sell like hotcakes, you'll make more profits i'll buy more games eveyone will be happy ffs.
