Media Create published the latest hardware sales from Japan.
yay Vita hardware sales are higher again ^_^
not too bad on the wiiu side as well. could be worse. like 360's sales. they should really give up over there. it costs more to ship their systems there then they are making.
Thats the lowest hardware sales for the WiiU for any week in Japan so far. hopefully it does not fall further. Not bad for the PSV, but 15k cant be the baseline it stays at... it needs to be higher after that price cut.
Here in Japan Im starting to see many people with Vitas on the train....and many colors are sold out at retailers...always a good sign... Now about that worldwide price drop....e3?
Best time would be at E3, Sony has said they have 100+ games coming out for Vita this year so lets hope that is shown at E3 plus they can show off the PS4+Vita capabilities. Wii looks to be as dead as 360 in Japan, they really dropped their most succesful console like a bad habit.
i love my vita! ^_^
me as well. I just need a high capacity card. 128GB or 256GB maybe, lol.
i love you.
3DS beasting again. It Only Prints Money
Whoever disagreed is lying to themselves. 3DS is about to get Monster Hunter 4 and Pokemon X Y and own the rest of the year in japan.
Since there's no way to disagree with sales numbers I think people disagreed with a known troll who used a tagline from PS3. I just find it unbelievable to see all these SKUs selling like hotcakes. Next up 3DS LLL that has everything the same but 0.1 inches bigger screen. Sales explode! Next up 3DS LLLL with 0.1 inches bigger screen. Sales explode! Etc. Etc. It boggles the mind is all. With handhelds Nintendo truly could sell bricks and call them brick DS and people would be all over them aswell.
Actually no the software attach ratio of the 3DS is 1 on 3 below average thats not print money cause it means 3ds owners on average only have 3 games for the system. When you compare that to the DS, which sold 153 million units and has moved 990 million pieces of software it looks pretty bad software makes the money not hardware.
Troll to some, freedom fighters to others. Hehehe XD Honestly though, what part of what I said was remotely disagreeable? To paraphrase another n4g member; I speak my mind and what I perceive is true, I don't care if that upsets you. As for Nintendo SKU's selling like hot cakes, it helps when they make games that the handheld market in Japan craves for. Lets not discount software sales mien of make outlandish claims about Nintendo's success being based solely on name and screen size increases. Lets also not forget that this tactic is not exclusive to Nintendo, in fact another console maker released the 3rd variant of their console not too long ago.
3DS is dominating in both hardware and software.
Man its gonna be crazy when Pokemon X/Y come out first 3D pokemon, worldwide release sales are gonna spike for weeks.
The 3DS is going to catch all types of sexual assault charges after the raping its going to deliver when the new Pokemon games drop, that's just a given. In other news, it seems like the Vita will be leveling off to decent hardware sales even when there are no games released, good sh*t Sony, now for that world wide price drop to seal the deal.
3DS has a lot of games out in japan so i can see why its selling so well.. Vita needs a price cut in the west & theres some games that need to be localized too.. When PS4 comes around & more games release, im sure itl pick up.. Vita is outselling all of the home consoles so its not doing too bad i guess
360 sales are pitiful and thats speaking the truth. Hopefully with the NextXbox sales will improve. There never going to be a leader in sales there, Japan's very loyal to their companies compare to completing foreign companies. But Ms needs to be respectable in sales over there, that's a region they need to work on.
What caused the enormous boost in 3DS LL sales from last week? Nintendo's doing a great job with the 3DS!
