Next PES gunning for FIFA 14 with talk of a “giant-killing” set of features

OPM: “Our ultimate goal is to let you win with the team you love,” says PES creative producer Kei Masuda. “If we can make a giant-killing possible, it’s a huge difference to FIFA.” Konami hopes to change the way you play and think about football games, inspired by results such as Celtic’s heroic 2-1 Champions League victory over Barcelona – and, in turn, perform a giant-killing of its own. Next PES gunning… (PC, PES 2014, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360)

I remember when PES was the better franchise, oh how times have changed.

Still hurts me to buy FIFA instead of PES since FIFA 12...
But for now FIFA is better (at least imho)

I couldnt forgive them for the mess that was, er? what was the first PES on PS3? I forgot?
Anyway that was an absolute mess, the replays were abysmal and I couldn't believe they would release it in that state. That was the last PES I bought and I had all the PS2 versions.

I no people who still think pes is the better game, the last pes has a strong case aswell,it is the license what lets it down, come on london blue

It's not just the license that lets Pes down, the license was never an issue when the core gameplay was superior (Pes 5&6). Pes does seem to be creeping back into contention but Fifa surpassed Pes in recent years and seem to go from strength to strength, i'm intrigued to see the new changes Fifa have made, especially regarding the ''real ball physics'' as i feel shooting is one area in which Pes has always been better that Fifa.

Either way i can't wait to try both out when their respective demos release, as it stands Fifa will be my go to game but i may pick up Pes also if i feel the improvements are worth the purchase.

It's doubtful since EA paid to have real clubs and other features

i think the last pes was better than fifa 13...

If it was fair and both games had all the licenses, i think alot of people would buy pes as a lot of people like authenticity.
