Tim Rogers: "Bioshock Infinite is the best game of all time... and the worst game of all time, inserted into opposite ends of a transdimensional nuclear supercollider."
First off, who gives reviews based on a 1-4? On a 1-10 scale, this game deserved no more than a 7. Of course, this is my opinion. This game's story was kind of cool at first but started getting wayyyy to out there which lost my attention. The next problem was the terrible visuals and the very basic audio design. My last gripe was the horrendous controls. I've played all the Bioshock games and so far this one was the worst. All in my opinion of course.
I have not completed the game yet but I agree with the audio and the visual, it could have been a lot better.
Bioshock 1 & 2 wipe the floor with Infinite
The game was beautiful halleujah!
Terrible visuals? You blind?
Hey look, it's "That review" you know the one that gives it an unjustly low score in order to garner attention!! You know the drill: 1: click "actionbutton.net +" 2: Story quality? WTF 3: Like this website? No 4: Move on like you never were here.
LMAO, yeah no.
Its about a 3 out of 4. A 2 imo is just too low.
What a horrible review. I can't really read it because it's such a mess. What's with that layout? I guess they think it's more important to make everything look fancy but it makes it hard to read. How about just a simple, plain looking page so I don't have to figure out what I'm reading. If you're working on creating your first site use that review as an example of how not to do it.
Wow the first two chapters of the review complains about the box art! lol. Couldn't read any further than that.
Although I'm not done finishing the review, I have to say you're not doing readers any favors by discussing something as innocuous as the box art first and trailing off to non-sequiturs regarding the misuse of adverbs. :/
*done reading the review, I should say (forgot to come back and edit).
It's only Tim Rogers, move along nothing to,see here.
Every time a review isn't as outstanding as others for a 80+ game, it's called a troll. While it's true sometimes, it can also be a completely serious critic. So fanboys insult without reading. The games are not the only who have to grow up, gamers aren't quite as mature as they want the games to be.
I agree but honestly go read that review and try to come back and defend it...
But a reviewer needs to look past their own bias to present objective reasoning as to why they believe this game is only worth a 2/4 (or a 5/10 in standard scoring), and if you read the review, they haven't done that at all. Most of it comes across as petty nitpicking and complaining, as opposed to an objective run-down of the positive and negatives of the game and why I, as a gamer, should/shouldn't play it. And now for my biased opinion...I can understand why some reviews have given this game a lower score than others because it does have it's flaws (particularly in the gameplay area) and some people might not be able to look past that. But a 2/4 (or 5/10) implies Bioshock Infinite is on the same level of quality as most movie licensed games, or that it's barely even worth renting. And let's be honest, it's better than that, even if you do only end up enjoying it for the story or for Elizabeth.
I turned on ad blocker to read this review because I automatically knew it would be a cry for clicks. Holy shit, this review has chapters? The first part of the review was about the box art? smh.
That equates to 5/10.. yeah...
OMG, you can math good!!!1!
Will the circle (of trolling for hits) be unbroken? lol
can't stand haters
