Mortal Kombat Retrospective

Injustice is nearly upon us, but we thought we would take a look back at Netherrealm's other fighter Mortal Kombat (Android, Arcade, Culture, GameCube, iPhone, PS Vita, PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360)

"Injustice is nearly upon us"

Given it launched last week, I think you'll find it's very much upon us...

And significantly different too.

Nice article.
It had a few slight incorrections (MK started with 5 buttons, not 4, Sega Genesis & not the Sega MegaDrive, etc.), but everything else is mostly spot-on.
I love Mortal Kombat!

The perfect Mortal Kombat compilation would be;
MK 1, 2 & Ultimate 3 (arcade perfect ports)
MK; Armegeddon (miss Creation & Konquest modes)
MK; Shaolin Monks
MK9

I would've thrown in MK4, but that's a personal favorite for me, Lol. The voice acting & animation was so comical! The way they heads would bop in the cutscenes.
