BioShock Infinite: Smoke and Mirrors

The first hour of BioShock Infinite was enthralling, the last thirty minutes amazing. As for everything in between these two points, well, that just felt like mere distraction. (BioShock: Infinite, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

Its too bad you didn't enjoy it...I did! But I find it funny how ppl are surprised that so many would pick this game apart. Its a niche game despite the advertising etc. I know this because I work with a few CoD fans that r 19 to 24. I told them about this game and that its an fps with a great story. 1 rented and the other borrowed it. Both finished it in 2 days. Neither knew anything about the story. They like some of the enemies but one found the vigors distracting and used mostly the shotgun and sniper. Neither liked the skyline...wtf? I wanted them to play so I could talk about the story but they simply didn't care. They hated that they ran out of ammo etc. But they actually loved the combat...funny right. They wished there was more combat situations.

It just isn't for everyone just as the first wasn't. I wasn't surprisef by the high reviews but I was by the critical acclaim.
