Nintendo talks Pikmin 3 with News10's Game Guys

Last summer, Nintendo opened their E3 press conference by announcing that the next game in Nintendo's popular Pikmin series was in development for Wii U. Since that time, however, details have been few and far between.

Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata broke that near-silence early Wednesday morning during the company's Nintendo Direct web stream by not only providing more details about the game, but also surprising everybody by publicly stating that the game will be coming out sooner than many had anticipated. (Casual games, Pikmin 3, Wii U)

August 4th.. nice.

Still not getting a wii until 2014 or a 3D mario game is released but right now any new game is good for the wii U.

August 4th isn't sooner than people expected. Most thought launch game or a month or two after, not nearly a year later. Question is will it move consoles

So much for "launch window."

I would rather a delayed game over a rushed game.
