Back in March, Guillaume de Fondaumière, co-CEO of Quantic Dream, announced that the studio is working on a game for the PlayStation 4, something David Cage said “you would be amazed” with. - PSLS
are those screens from ps4 version??? http://images.gamersyde.com... http://images.gamersyde.com...
the what is it? and how do you know this?? from what i know, all they have show so far is all ps3 gameplay or cutscenes rendered on a PS3. so it's from the PS3
i see that you can't answer.. wow this bubble system is broken and silly bubbles to you two.. freedom of speech!
no, those jawdropping graphics are all ps3.
The typography on the cardboard sign is really awful. I just mean in considering the rest of the brilliant quality of the textures around, it seems like a glaring oddity. It just looks like it was typed, rather than say scanning an image of the writing using a crude marker or chalk... I don't think that's nitpicking, either, the art director should take notice, surely.
remember that Alfred Molina PS3 tech demo? http://www.youtube.com/watc... Those pics and this tech demo are so damn close OT Question No.1 How many PS2 games made it to PS3? Question No.2 How many PS3 games will make it to PS4? PS3 games on PS4, simultaneous realease, is really a no brainer. Sony would not pass up on the opportunity to put their games on as many platforms they can. If third party games can do PS3& PS4 simultaneous releases like Diablo III, Destiny, Watch Dogs, etc. how much more Sony?
I have mixed feelings about Beyond being a cross-gen game. On the one hand it would be great to have it on PS4, on the other... it was developed for PS3 and they already have another PS4 title in the works. I prefer for games not cross generations if they don't have to. Focus all development on a single platform, rather than porting and up scaling or down scaling.
That's a good point. Needless to say they would never admit there was a PS4 version even if it were true unless it was going to have a simultaneous release like they did with Zelda on the Wii/Gamecube. However that was delayed so they could finish the Wii port. It doesn't make as much sense to delay this game so they can have two versions. The PS3 install base is much larger than the Gamecube was.
I think it will be on PS3 only, so they can focus on their PS4 game.
It should be a PS3 game only, am I the only one who feels ripped a bit when they release current gen titles on next generation consoles? A good example of this would be Twilight Princess on the Wii, I bought that with my Wii the day it came out, but it turns out the Gamecube version was better because that was the console it was being developed for originally. I think I'd prefer to play the game on the console it was planned/developed for in the first place. That would be a lasting legacy type of game for the PS3, then they can create a totally new kind of game on the PS4.
It'll either be on PS4 from the start or never.... I really don't care.
IMO just doing a strsight port from ps3 to ps4 will be a waste of time. What purpose does it serve? It's a game built on ps3 hardware that dorsn't take advantage of the ps4 advance hardware.
From all the hype that is surrounding the ps4, it sounds like there may be a lot of converts next gen. That means there will be people with a ps4 that have never owned a ps3. Would love for everyone to be able to enjoy Quntic Dreams games.
