Gematsu: "Bethesda Japan has gone live with first story details and a list of key features for Tango Gameworks’ newly revealed The Evil Within (or Psychobreak as it’s called in Japan) ahead of Monday’s IGN details story."
<sheds tear> It sounds so...so beautiful I honestly can't wait for this. It's like what happens when you cross Resident Evil and Silent Hill together. " Players must survive on limited resources " " Players can die in a trap all too easily, however, at times they can turn them against enemies. " "The scenery: hallways, walls, doors, rooms, buildings, and even nature, all transforming in real time based on the player’s actions" Win, win and win
I know right? it seem like we'll finally be getting a proper survival horror game!.
*stands up and applause* :'D
lets support the hell out of this game.
Can't wait to play this although I will admit I take much longer finishing horror games. You never know what might pop up. ;)
someones scared already he he
dude the trailer scare the shit out of me, i cant imagine how scary the game will be lol.
i like my horror with a twist of asian sickness
OMG can't wait! http://youtu.be/-ULRfir4xdU
If Sebastian says "You bastards, why do you keep torturing me like this? WHY!?" anytime in the game I will laugh my head off......
Limited resources, traps, unstable world that always changing. Yes YESS YESSSSSSSSSS! *screaming yes like a madman XD
This is now my most wanted game. Maybe there is still hope for survival horror fan after all.
This has been my most wanted game since last march, it's going to be awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds promising, but I'll wait till I see more than a live action/CG trailer before I get excited.
This game sounds awesome, its looks like to be the next generation of Resident Evil but truly going back to the roots. Can't wait to play it, survival horror is back with a vengence.
Shunji mikami is back and survival horror is back!
My reaction to this awesomeness.... http://www.youtube.com/watc...
So Bethesda is only a publisher. So won't affect next Fallout or Elder Scrolls development. Can't wait for this game and the next Fallout/TES
thank you bethesda for funding this project. much respect.
I'm confident Bethesda will hire good writers and voice actors. Hopefully we don't get any "Jill sandwich" dialogue.
Nothing wrong with a little campy dialogue to break the tension sometimes.
Campy if it's done right. Hopefully, not campy because of horrible translation and voice acting directing.
Not to troll or sound like an a-hole, but I'm gonna wait post game release before I get excited because I know there's going to be some sort of game-breaking glitch(es) that need to be ironed out, and I've been burned with the Fallout series (Skyrim I waited to purchase, and one glitch I've encountered requires me to start a new game) and if the game delivers I'll pick it up.
Bethesda are only publishing this game
That happened with Call of C'thulhu. Real shame I say.
It's been far too long since consoles have gotten a legit survival horror game. This sounds very good.
THIS GAME BETTER BE GOOD OR ELSE. we need this game to be good for the sake of all horror. PLEASE GOD
@Tetsujin It is being published by Bethesda, not developed. Doesnt use the same engine as Skyrim or Fallout either. It uses ID Tech 5, so you wont run into those horrible glitches you would find in the those games...i assume anyway. Edit: Was supposed to be a reply to Tetsujin. Somehow ended up dowm here.
finally T_T a damn fuc%$$%^ survival horror
I'm actually intrigued by this. With the right execution it can really be the kind of game I've been waiting for. Bethesda also published the Call of C'thulhu game which was a very interesting experience, only lacking on the technical side of things.
I really really really hope this game would sell a lot to wake companies like capcom to rethink of their horror franchises. Companies need to know we don't need no shooters
Oh yeah. We heard that a lot about how a game has this and that and will do this and that, and then before the release date, they remove a lot of stuff to be future DLC or just to dump it down for a wider audience. Until the game is officially released, I'm not gonna believe anything.
