The uncanny similarities between the original BioShock and Infinite (gallery)

GamesBeat writes, "When you compare the cloud city Columbia to the underwater society of Rapture, you start to see all sorts of similarities. GamesBeat spotted a bunch and collected them in the gallery below. Did we miss any? Irrational Games developed both titles, so many different connections are possible." Anyone else feel like everything that happened in the first BioShock is just futile once you know Infinite's ending? Jack, Sander Cohen, Andrew Ryan, the Little Sisters... all the political drama, etc, just doesn't matter anymore once you know the bigger picture. I almost feel like I wasted my time. Other Raptures, Columbias, and who knows what else repeats a similar process, ad infinitum.

Anyway, that's just my nihilistic take on the BioShock universe. =p

It possibly all comes full circle. Infinite undermined BS2 to an extent, if you look at it another way, as well.

I feel that way a little, too. It's like saying choice has no real effect ... yet the game is all about making a choice. And then there are good and bad realities anyway, so what's the point? Y\Kinda confused.
