this is going to be a great game on all platforms, but i'm going to have to go with the pc version

the dedicated servers, higher resolutions and higher (most likely) player counts

that said, i also cannot wait to see how close it will come to the pc version on ps4/nextbox, may have to rent them both just to see with the good old blockbuster game pass!

Well, as an ex-PC gamer, never going back to PC again. With the kind of graphic power the PS4 will have, the game will look good enough even on a big-screen TV so that any additional power will be superfluous, and the Playstation just works better, simpler and more reliable.

PC gaming is just painful, and it's all down to two reasons - the non-standard set-up, which means developers can never tap the power optimally, and you keep landing up with bugs and glitches related to whatever graphic card or set-up you are using. And secondly, rampant piracy and increasing DRM.

I did the trade-off a few years back, giving up PC games altogether and opting for a far more comfortable gaming experience (and a huge number of great Sony exclusives) and giving up moderately better graphics. Never regretted it.

Its a shame you had such a bad experiance, cant say ive had any issues myself but i do agree that the consoles get to focus on the set hardware etc especially on exclusives

Last year or so though i cant bring myself to buy a multiplatform game on a console over my pc (i think infinite was a great example) frame rate is more important to me over graphics too.

I do have a ps3 though and will get a ps4 for the exclusives, and see how it goes, i cant speak for how it will compare to pc for multiplatform games.

*also the games are alot cheaper on pc lately and thats a big plus in my eyes*
