PSBlog - Today we’re very pleased to unveil our packshot for BEYOND: Two Souls, due for release in October for PlayStation 3.
Seems like a movie poster or boxart
Do actors even sell videogames? Do they even sell movies?
the cover looks BEYOND. absolutely getting this game not many covers know how to intrigue a potential buyer
A game with a female lead? A cover with a female on it? Which crazy publisher would support such a thing?
I forgot all about this game, which is shocking considering its one of my most anticipated games Hope they have some great gameplay @ e3 this year. I wish they wouldve done like ND or R* and release screens shots every now and then Box art looks good too :)
Well it'll most likely be an "interactive movie" like Heavy Rain. Might as well make the boxart look like a movie poster!
i hope it will be like heavy rain. the walking dead was a interactive movie like heavy rain and it end up being the game of the year 2012. maybe beyond can be game of the year 2013?
Not a fanboy, but this box art is fucking awesome. Havent seen so good long time.
Love the boxart!!!
its simply beautiful! the colors work very well stoked!
I like it.
KInda reminds me of The Wanted movie poster that came with the movie. https://encrypted-tbn0.gsta...
Thought it had something to do with mirrors edge! Lol
It doesn't look bad. Though it's weird having voice actors' (and mocap) names on a box art.
they have their likeness in the game
Different and beautiful artwork. It's nice to see something fresh for a change.
Great boxart. Will definitely get this game on it's release date.
And it'll probably beat out all of your games this year.
I'm definitely getting this. I'm yet to try Heavy Rain though. Is it any good?
Amazing game. Has multiple endings and the story changes depending on the actions you take.
It's like playing a new type of game for the first time (Original) . If you didn't play the walking dead then this is gonna be a new experience. Even if you did, this game is deeper and better in every aspect. You must buy it if you love story and don't mind a gameplay only made for the story...
If you like bleak adventure/thriller experiences then it could be for you. It has a branching story-tree, unique gameplay, GREAT emotive soundtrack, compelling characters and themes. If you liked the gameplay in Telltale's The Walking Dead and certain aspects of L.A. Noire, it will be somewhat familiar. The voice acting could be better and the plot could be more fleshed out, but I'd say it's worth owning just because it's a gem. If you're not sure, just rent it. or buy it, you can find it for cheap enough now. Do, at least, try it. As far as Beyond is concerned, Quantic has taken a different approach with its gameplay and I think those choices are all for the better, so I wouldn't expect Heavy Rain and Beyond to play or feel the same.
It's okay Jamal. I wouldn't say it's amazing but it does have some interesting parts. If you do finish it and you find a lot of holes in the plot don't go beating yourself up trying to make sense of it all. Just take it with a grain of salt and suspend your belief. There is a good twist at the end though. JAAAAAAYYYYYYSOOOON!
I like the cover, looks very artistic and a fresh air from the usual covers that are on most other games.
Time go buy a ticket for the TriBeCa film festival since its going to be screened there for an hour
I can't wait I hope we get more info about the game during E3
I'm really hoping this game doesn't disappoint. I'm really looking forward to it.
Nice art, but Cage can shove the game up his ass as far as I'm concerned. Heavy Rain left a horrible taste in my mouth. I wish he'd give up as a writer.
