Seems like a movie poster or boxart

JohnApocalypse1134d ago

Do actors even sell videogames? Do they even sell movies?

sengoku1134d ago

the cover looks BEYOND.
absolutely getting this game
not many covers know how to intrigue a potential buyer

Raf1k11134d ago

A game with a female lead?
A cover with a female on it?

Which crazy publisher would support such a thing?

Dee_911133d ago (Edited 1133d ago )

I forgot all about this game, which is shocking considering its one of my most anticipated games
Hope they have some great gameplay @ e3 this year.
I wish they wouldve done like ND or R* and release screens shots every now and then

Box art looks good too :)

Well it'll most likely be an "interactive movie" like Heavy Rain. Might as well make the boxart look like a movie poster!

kreate1134d ago

i hope it will be like heavy rain.
the walking dead was a interactive movie like heavy rain and it end up being the game of the year 2012.

maybe beyond can be game of the year 2013?

Not a fanboy, but this box art is fucking awesome.
Havent seen so good long time.

looks great, "A David Cage Game" should be added, the guy wrote and directed the game and he's one of the best devs in gaming, why his name is not written on the cover?

mushroomwig1134d ago

Simple reason, David Cage isn't a well known name. You may know who he is but I'm willing to bet the average gamer won't.

DigitalRaptor1134d ago (Edited 1134d ago )

To add to mushroomwig's point, Quantic Dream is bigger than one man and his vision. It's a true artistic entity with creativity being shared and influencing other aspects of the production, just like with any development process.

It's the same reason why the cover to BioShock Infinite doesn't say "A Ken Levine game".

MidnytRain1134d ago (Edited 1134d ago )

What about Sid Meier? Or Tom Clancy? Or Steven Spielberg?

Rayansaki1134d ago

Let's be honest, people who know who David Cage is, also know about this game and whether they'll buy it or not. It serves no purpose to have that in the box art, while Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe are two names people know from other media and might sway them to pick this game even if they don't know about it.
