That's a fascinating article! I never knew that much about the architecture behind those sound chips! I've always loved the Genesis and Sonic's music though.

Lol but I think your asking to much out of the "new age" n4g all (they) care for is console wars and does these game look better on X system next to X system .. Even tho its the same images use for both most of the time ...

In any case agree great read and good post we need more of it around here

Sonic 3&Knuckles has to be one of my favorite games ive ever played, the soundtrack for that game was amazing.
